Westboro Baptist Church Will Possibly Protest Funeral Of Child Killed By Tornado At Plaza Towers Elementary in Moore, Oklahoma

After the devastating tornadoes that hit Moore, Oklahoma and lets not forget the other towns in the previous days, Westboro Baptist Church apparently has plans to make their presence in Oklahoma despite Senate Bill 406 which bans protests two hours before and after funerals and also within 1000 feet. Sources state that WBC plans to protest at the funeral of a child who died at Plaza Towers Elementary in Moore, Oklahoma.

I am posting this as a notice to all Oklahomans and those who are interested in making your presence known so the families of the lost loved ones don’t have to view this nonsensical bigotry and hatred manufactured by Westboro Baptist Church. This abuse of free speech is disgusting and I encourage those who are volunteering to provide me with more information about the funeral. I encourage volunteers to take video, picture, don’t break the law, and lets make it known that Oklahomans are behind those who lost loved ones during the tragic EF5 tornado in Moore, Oklahoma and also those affected by the destructive weather in other cities and towns.

There’s Facebook and Internet chatter suggesting they are sitting quiet in an Oklahoma Hotel as we speak.

In addition to the Facebook chatter about WBC being in Oklahoma City, the following was posted by Fred Phelps Jr. on Twitter several days ago.

More and more evidence is pointing towards WBC making some sort of presence even if they respect the law of not protesting before or after funerals. Bottom-line, hate has no place in Oklahoma and that’s something everyone irrespective of religion, nationality, or gender can agree with.
