If you love the best steaks and ribs then head over to Ken’s Steakhouse located in Amber, Oklahoma. This best kept secret is only open Thursday through Saturday from 4:30pm to 9:00pm so make the drive and taste what you’ve been missing. I’ve been to Ken’s several times and I short review will hopefully encourage you to make the trip to Amber.

So, what’s good at Ken’s? Well just about everydamnthing!! Included in every meal is access to their fresh salad bar where you slice your own cheese. It also includes fresh vegetables and fixings that come with a nice salad-bar. Oh, did I mention there’s unlimited okra. The BEST PART of Ken’s is their appetizer; ribs. Yes they give you four ribs for an appetizer. So, they’re best known for their prime rib, steak, and brisket. Ever meal I ordered has come as requested and the cooks pay delicate attention to how you want your meat cooked.

It’s a fact that real BBQ doesn’t need sauce and this is often the case at Ken’s. The perfectly seasoned meat falls off the bone and by the time you’re done you will probably want more. The Heaven-sent flavor comes from their mesquite wood grilling techniques coupled with pepper and other ingredients. Now that’s how you cook, no food network needed. Ken’s leaves you satisfied from the first to last bite; guaranteed. It’s something you have to experience. Ken’s Steakhouse, as some would describe as a “Hole in the Wall” type of restaurant, is NO CORPORATE, FRANCHISE SELLOUT and staying true to their recipe has equalled major word of mouth success. I have never heard of a dissatisfied customer at Ken’s.

Overall, the atmosphere is appropriate and their staff-members are polite. A meal at Ken’s Steak and Ribs will typically set you back $20+ but it’s worth the drive and remember afterwards a to-go box might be needed. How do they sound? Excellent is most accurate! The PureGear Pure Boom Premium Sound Buds definitely deliver the deep, rich bass many are accustom to and also the mid and high level range to give your music and media depth and clarity. I played several songs, all different genres, and it sounded on par with my exceptions. Listening to movies provided an atmosphere that I was fully involved and the outside noises were never a distraction. More importantly, these are not branded as “noise canceling” earbuds but they do an superb job at driving the sound in and keeping the noise pollution out. In other words, these are ideal for a long flight or a tedious road trip. So, there’s no gripe in the sound department because it delivers top-notch sound with the quality expected of PureGear. I listened to music on my MacBook Air and my Galaxy Note; same impressive results.

What else is special about the PureGear earbuds? They are comfortable to wear and fit securely within the ear. After a two mile run they were still snug and I never had to press them back into my ears. In addition, These buds feature an in-line microphone for answering telephone calls and speaking to friends when they call your phone. Is this feature expected? Absolutely yes! Does the mic work well…of course…so do the earbuds when accepting a call. The grey button is also an expected feature used to pause and play music/media and they’re also used to answer and hang up. If I could describe these in one word it would be ‘accommodating’ not overwhelming like other electronic accessories.

In conclusion, these earbuds sale for $49.99 here for the newest model but they can be snatched for a cheaper price on Amazon and other online retailers. Review: PureGear Utilitarian Smartphone Support System w/ Removable Kickstand Clip

It’s a clip, a kickstand, an iPhone 4S/4 holder, and to be honest it can be used to prop up small objects using the 360/90 degree swivel mechanism. Formally it’s called the Utilitarian Smartphoen Support System by PureGear. PureGear is known for their high quality and high selection of smartphone accessories and this is no exception. The Utilitarian has an excellent build quality and offers the highest level of protection without sacrificing style. The materials feel firm, attached, and not cheap thus keeping in line with Apple’s sleek and sophisticated lifestyle. It gets an A+ in the design department.

Functionality! It’s called Utilitarian, root word utility, for a reason. The swivel belt clip allows users to clip it on their purse, gym bag, belt or just about anywhere. More importantly is the clip. It pivots 360 degrees and the kickstand 90 degrees horizontal and vertical to allow viewing of movies and other media on your iPhone 4S/4. This feature can also be used in business meetings when you want to put your iPhone on speakerphone and pivot the microphone upwards or downwards depending on preference. There are an unlimited amount of scenarios where the clip comes in handy to accommodate viewing your iPhone’s screen with minimal or no glare at all. I’ve gone into more detail in the below video review.

I didn’t spend much time on the case functionality but it works like a traditional iPhone case that allows protection with a bezel in case you drop your smartphone screen first. The rim protects and allows just enough space to save you a trip to the repair store. The bezel is subdued enough not to interfere with touching the screen, talking or texting I have found. Gripping the case is a breeze, especially when you detach the removable kickstand, so no complication there. As a side-note, the packaging also includes a screen shield and a silk-like cloth to wipe the screen. Nice touch!

Will this case hinder access to the power button, volume, and charging ports…NO! PureGear has done their research and developed an aesthetically pleasing accessory that will allow access to the volume buttons, power, mute selection, and more. Whatever the lifestyle athletic, lethargic, the average job, or a globetrotting traveler the Utilitarian Smartphone Support System will engulf your sexy iPhone with the attention it deserves even if you drop it. It will be okay…TRUST ME! So, overall it’s a top-notch accessory that is SMART. SIMPLE. SENSIBLE. as PureGear clearly states on the packaging.

[Review of Voxer] Best Walkie-Talkie PTT App Is Voxer – Stores Voice In The Cloud Walkie Talkie For iPhone & Android

This is my honest review of a trending app called Voxer. It’s a push-to-talk application that allows Android and iPhone users to send audio voice messages at no cost; data plan included. With various apps that do the same thing vying for user’s attention, I was hesitant to download Voxer because I viewed Voxer as another standard walkie-talkie PTT application. Well, after a CNN video clip, a suggestion from a co-worker, and seeing it’s almost viral popularity I decided to try Voxer. For privacy I’ve blanked out various names and images but there are screenshots below. So lets start the review.

Voxer works…point blank. After signing in with my Facebook credentials which aren’t required it populated my contacts who had Voxer and the rest was easy. I knew my co-worker Jeremy had Voxer so I pressed his name and held the huge button at the bottom and began to talk. Within a minute he responded. The sound quality was impressive on my phone; AT&T Skyrocket. What makes Voxer different from other applications is it’s simplicity and user interface. I have to give accolades to their marketing team who have made this a cross-platform success so mobile phone users, irrespective of device, can community with one another.

So, let talk about features. Two features that impressed me were the ability to turn off the speaker output for more personal usage. The button is located on the top right and it’s highlighted green. I’m not sure how it looks on iPhones but it provides a little more privacy from open ears. Also within Voxer you can disabled the Hold to Talk if you prefer to start your push-to-talk manually and then end it. Be careful, this can bite you in the butt if you speak offhand and it’s automatically sent to your friend or whoever is listening on the other end. The fact that the feature is available makes it optimal for, I hate to say it, drivers who talk and drive. It can also be a blessing for other situations that require movement.

Voxer also give pertinent information about the incoming voice message by telling you the senders location, if the opposite party has it the feature enabled. It even shows you the length of message. The above screen shot doesn’t show my entire conversation, but Voxer proved to be a reliable way communicate with multiple friends seamlessly without any delay or degradation in voice quality. The app also provides the ability to speed up your friend’s voice by enabling faster communication. To enable this feature, just click on your friends voice message and press the rabbit button several times to test it. Very creative and useful for long messages. +1 for Voxer.

Of course Voxer provides the traditional features of typing a message or sending pictures which worked perfectly, but the beauty lies in it’s mainstream usage by Apple iPhone user and Google Android users. As it stands there isn’t a standard protocol for all devices with data but Voxer successfully and professionally fills the PTT gap in my opinion.

The settings menu provides a nice selection of features which including message notifications, vibrate, LED Color (if you phone has an indicator), and more. Voxer hasn’t made a penny, as stated by its founder, but a premium service is on its way.

In summary, I highly recommend Voxer and I truly believe this application will stay mainstream and set itself apart from the hundreds of wannabe applications. It’s worth it to note that I didn’t experience any FC or force closes, freezes, or random reboots while using Voxer. The application is widely used, intuitive, and unifies the mobile phone community. I recommend it as a quality app for Android and iPhone. Voxer is here for the duration!

2011/2012 Chrysler 300C Luxury Vehicle – Showroom Pics [Quick Review]

So, I stopped by Bob Howard to look at the Chrysler 300. This model is a Chrysler 300C to be specific. Being a Bimmer/BMW owner I wanted to see what Detroit had to offer. The Sales Professional Gary Greeson was very courteous and knowledgeable so I want to thank him.

Here we go! The Chrysler 300 commercials are on every channel and to be honest the commercials are catchy. So, this is just a quick, showroom review. I didn’t get to drive it because I arrived at the car lot around 7ish after work.

So, is this Detroit born and bread vehicle luxurious like the BMWs, Benz, and Audi….HELL YEAHHHH! It’s very easy to discard it as a wannabe without looking at the finer details of the car. First the vehicle is a beauty and it’s stunning to look at. They’ve improved the body and made the Chrysler 300/300C look more executive. Definitely an airport pickup vehicle.

I have to admit the grill look Audi-ish but there’s more. The front RPM, miles per hour gauges are not my style with the bluish tint but that’s an matter of opinion. The main controls look top notch and luxurious especially the steering wheel. The dash is equipped with various controls, navigation which is touch screen, and endless buttons. In addition the plush leather is very comfortable with heated seats (standard) and the cup-holders are heated/cooled I believe.

The backseat is comfortable as well with plenty of leg space for the average adult. Now, do you get 7 Series leg space; NO but it’s enough trust me. You will be satisfied. In addition, the back-shade is standard in many vehicles executive vehicles and the Chrysler 300C has included this feature as well. It will automatically come down when you reverse I was told.

One feature that reviewers typically miss is the trunk. I joked with the sales professional, Gary Greeson, that I judge vehicles by how many bodies you can fit in the trunk. Well, you can fit several average sizes adults in this Chrysler behemoth’s trunk if you’re into that business but I wouldn’t recommend it for legal reasons.

Aside from it’s improved style I was impressed with all the technological advances, safety features, and it’s luxurious feel when entering the vehicle. The model I reviewed will set you back $44k and I have yet to see the bang for your buck factor without driving it. If you’re wondering, luxury wise, does this vehicle have everything I’d expect from an executive sedan; YES IS MY ANSWER.
