Are you sitting behind your MAC or PC changing and tweaking your blog thinking it will attract more visitors? While I hope so the key to attracting more visitors to your blog is persistence. For TraeMcNeely.com I devote at least an hour to updating the site, backing up the database in case of failures, and posting content for you to read.

Expect to get out of your blog what you put into it. You put effort into genuine subjects and content then your audience will come as a byproduct of your hardwork and dedication. If you can’t squeeze and hour out of your daily schedule, which I truly believe you can, then devote 30 minutes and write until your hands cramp or you’re out of subjects. All articles should fall under one of these three categories 1) informative, 2) interesting, or 3) relevant. The beauty of having a blog is that there are no rules or regulations and you don’t have to have your planned outlined.
