Download GTG’s Ultimate Unbrick For Samsung Infuse 4G SGH-i997 & Return Samsung Back To Stock; Unrooting Samsung Infuse 4G

Did you completely mess up your Samsung Infuse 4G?
Does it have horrible battery life after flashing a ROM or kernel?
Do you want to start all over again?
Want your phone to be like new again, like it’s fresh from the store?

Well, if you answered yes I can help. Hooray!!!

Step 1 ) Make sure you have the Samsung Infuse 4G drivers install on your computer. If you’re not sure, install Kies. There should be a CD that came with your phone to install. If you lost here HERE is the link to download Kies. If that link doesn’t work, then Google Samsung Kies.
Step 2 ) Download and unzip THIS FILE HERE. Remember where you unzipped it to on your computer. If you don’t have unzipping software try THIS or THIS
Step 3 ) Now, run Odin3 v1.7.exe as Administrator. To run it as Administrator, right click the file and Run it as Administrator. Leave Odin3 running on your computer. Now grab your USB cable and plug it into the computer’s USB port, leave the other end unplugged (this end is for your phone).
Step 4 ) Back to your phone now. Put your phone in Download Mode by 1. Taking out the battery 2. replacing the battery 3. take your phone and press and hold BOTH VOLUME BUTTONS while plugging in the USB cable to your computer.
Step 5 ) To verify your phone is in Download Mode look at Odin and your phone should show up as COM(whatever), COM01, COM02, this varies and it doesn’t matter. The COM might show yellow, green, etc. You can let go of the buttons now. As long as it recognizes the phone in Odin you’re good and you can go to Step 6).

Note: If it doesn’t recognize it, unplug your phone and try Step 4) again. Your phone doesn’t need to be in USB debugging mode, but you can try it if you want. You can go to USB debugging mode by pressing the menu button, settings, applications, and development, and check USB debugging. You shouldn’t have to do this but I want to put it out there.

Step 6 ) Did you remember where you unzipped all those files? I hope so. Now click the PIT button in Odin and choose infuse.pit and remember to check Re-Partition. You must check Re-Partition REMEMBER. There’s more.
Step 7 ) Now, click the PDA button and select/pick PDA_UCKD5.tar.md5 There’s more.
Step 8 ) Then, click the PHONE button and select/pick PHONE_UCKD5.tar.md5
Step 9 ) Now once you’ve selected the infuse.pit, the PHONE_UCKD5.tar.md5, and the PHONE_UCKD5.tar.md5 PRESS START.
Step 10 ) Let the phone do it’s thing. Now your phone is back to how it was when you bought it. In the rare case that it continually loops and you don’t see any progress, pull out the battery, put it back in and press and hold both volume keys and then press the power key. Keep hold all of the buttons until the 3e recovery appears. Then select delete all user data and then reboot system data.
