[Settings] AT&T APN Settings for Infuse 4G, AT&T Phones, Samsungs {Access Point Names}

When flashing new ROMs sometimes the APN settings are set correctly or maybe your phone was reset. Let me show you how to correctly configure your APN settings so you have voice and most importantly data.

1) Press the settings/menu button (far left button)
2) Press Settings (bottom, middle)
3) Press Wireless and network (typically at the top)
4) Press Mobile networks (typically at the bottom)
5) Press Access Point Names

NOW YOU CAN PROCEED TO STEP 6 if you want to do it yourself or skip STEP 12 and get the default settings from AT&T (quicker).

6) Press settings/menu button (far left button)
7) Press New APN
8) type the following

Name: www.traemcneely.com, AT&T, just a typical name, doesn’t matter.
APN: wap.cingular
Proxy: {leave this blank}
Port: {leave this blank}
User name: WAP@CINGULARGPRS.COM
Password: CINGULAR1
Server: {leave this blank}
MMSC: http://mmsc.cingular.com
MMS proxy: wireless.cingular.com
MMS port: 80
MCC: 310
MNC: 410
Authentication type: {leav this blank}
APN type: internet + mms

9) Press settings/menu button (far left button)
10) Click/Press SAVE on the screen
11) LASTLY, Make sure you’ve selected the correct APN Setting with the green indicator on the right. Wait, be patient and let the time and date update

12) Press settings/menu button (far left button)
13) Press Reset to default, wait, be patient and let the time and date update.

Note: You should not see a E, 3G, H+, or 4G logo at the top of your notification bar. You may have to reset your phone
